Pine Canyon Bed and Breakfast, and Spa was designed and built (starting in 1994) by World Class Artisans Rae and Beverly Kilby.

This couple's skill with marble, stone, and tile is also showcased at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. Pine Canyon was originally crafted as a personal home for the Kilby's.

Hand hewn beams and door frames, handmade doors, saltillo tile floors, stucco walls, and vibrant Mexican tile accents all flavor this eclectic home. It has been called a mixture of English Country Cottage and Mexican Hacienda. Rae and Beverly were strongly attracted to this land, once inhabited by Native Americans, as was I when seeing it for the very first time. Visitors from the city seem to slow down, breathe deeper, and connect with nature.

The Kilbys moved back to their native England in 2001, when I purchased the home with plans to share its magic with many others for years to come.

Pine Canyon Bed and Breakfast is located between Bastrop and Smithville, Texas, near Rosanky. We are 30 minutes east of Austin Bergstrom Airport.
